Role Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic legal guidance across a fast-growing, global organization. You will partner closely with the People team and business leaders to manage employment-related risks, ensure compliance, and support key HR initiatives. The position involves advising on:

You will also contribute to the development and review of employment policies, playing a critical role in maintaining consistent, legally compliant practices across the company. Accountabilities:

  • Provide day-to-day employment law advice to People teams and business leaders.
  • Proactively review and update employment policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support strategic initiatives and global projects, providing counsel on legal risks and business considerations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive employment matters and internal investigations.

Qualifications

  • 6โ€“10 years of employment law experience in a leading law firm or in-house legal department, with hands-on employment counseling experience.
  • Strong judgment in balancing legal risk with business needs and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey legal guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and project management skills, capable of managing multiple long- and short-term projects simultaneously.
  • Decisive, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to work in fast-paced, growing environments.
  • Adept at maintaining discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters.
  • Bonus: Experience in global employment law, HR compliance programs, or supporting cross-border operations.
