Role Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will take charge of leading early client engagements and drive the technical direction for complex systems development. Your expertise will help translate business needs into robust system architectures, fostering trust and reliability among clients. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will tackle ambiguous challenges while guiding multi-disciplinary teams. Your leadership will not only influence project outcomes but also mentor budding engineers, shaping practices that encourage fundamental growth and technical excellence.

Accountabilities

  • Lead Client Technical Engagement: Serve as the primary technical leader throughout early customer engagement, translating business objectives into viable system concepts.
  • Architect Systems for Value: Drive the requirements discovery and analysis process to define a robust system architecture that delivers mutual value.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead collaboration across engineering disciplines during early engagement, ensuring effective handoff from architecture to development.
  • Champion Organizational Growth: Mentor technical staff and establish systems that enhance organizational capabilities.

  • 15+ years of engineering experience in client-facing roles, with a strong track record in system architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and evaluate technical solutions.
  • Deep experience applying systems engineering principles in early-stage environments.
  • Proven communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
