Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive, and high-functioning legal team responsible for supporting Wiz’s global channel sales organization as they build and grow Wiz’s partner program. We are seeking a talented, creative, and solutions-oriented attorney with expertise in negotiating complex commercial partner agreements and serving as a legal business partner in attaining Wiz’s channel growth objectives in all Wiz sales theaters.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience navigating the laws and regulations impacting channel sales.
  • The ability to efficiently handle a variety of complex partner and alliance agreements.
  • The aptitude to provide pragmatic and actionable advice to partner sales, programs, and operations teams.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment where collaboration and teamwork are key. You should be comfortable managing sophisticated contracts and be passionate about accelerating revenue growth through the partner ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch legal service while working closely with other teams to ensure contracts are finalized smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, brings sound legal and business judgment, and can skillfully balance legal requirements with practical business solutions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you’ll be engaging with cross-functional internal teams, company leadership, and strategic partners. A deep interest in learning about Wiz and what we do is a must.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of in-house experience is required, technology company experience is preferred.
  • Strong emphasis on strategic alliances, negotiating a high volume of complex partner agreements, supporting partner programs, and advising on the laws and regulations that impact channel sales.
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of privacy and information security legal issues.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • Strong "business-friendly" style that supports the growth and success of the business.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently on a remote basis and as a member of a team.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.

Requirements

  • Provide counseling to Wiz’s channel sales organization regarding Wiz’s global partner programs and operations.
  • Take ownership of the drafting, review, and negotiation of all forms of partnership and alliance agreements.
  • Advise on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
  • Respond promptly to requests for legal advice from business teams.
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, negotiation playbooks, contract templates, internal policies, and legal processes.
  • Triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal clients and delivering results efficiently.

Job Requirements
