This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and management of complex cloud and corporate network environments at a global scale. You will work across multiple cloud providers, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI, to ensure high availability, scalability, and security for critical infrastructure. The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic problem-solving, enabling you to influence network architecture, automation, and observability practices. You will collaborate closely with SREs, security teams, and infrastructure engineers to optimize performance and cost efficiency while maintaining operational reliability. The role also includes contributing to automation, documentation, and best practices for network reliability and cloud operations.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of corporate and cloud networks across multiple providers, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and infrastructure health using observability tools and synthetic testing frameworks.
- Lead cloud migrations, hybrid connectivity initiatives, and optimizations for enterprise network performance.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and change management.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to improve observability, reliability, and operational knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with security teams to enhance segmentation, traffic inspection, and zero-trust practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure network and service reliability, including support for core and non-core business hours.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field—or equivalent experience.
- 9+ years of experience in cloud networking, corporate IT, or infrastructure engineering in production environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud networking, including VPC/VNet/VCN design, routing, IP addressing, Transit Gateway / Virtual WAN / DRG, and IPsec VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI environments.
- Experience with hybrid connectivity solutions, such as Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Interconnect, or FastConnect.
- Strong understanding of network security, including firewalls, WAF, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
