Role Description
We are currently seeking a REMOTE Instructional Designer (2-month contract) to support an External Academy learning platform that prepares Experts across a global financial product ecosystem. This is a hands-on design and development role focused on building and migrating assessments into Articulate 360 as part of a broader effort to bring learning and certification experiences fully in-house. The ideal candidate enjoys translating complex workflows into clear learning experiences and using AI tools to accelerate development and quality review. The Academy LMS is Docebo, and this role is essential to ensuring learners have a smooth, engaging, and successful training journey.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build Storyline-based learning and assessment experiences
- Convert existing exams from a third-party platform into Articulate Storyline
- Build and structure multiple-choice and scenario-based assessments
- Support simulated learning experiences that mirror real product workflows
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure assessments align with learning objectives
- Use Storyline variables, triggers, and logic to support assessment functionality
- Review learning content for accuracy, usability, and consistency
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate development and quality review
Qualifications
- 2+ years instructional design with a focus on development
- Experience with Articulate Storyline and Synthesia
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience integrating AI tools into your workflow (Gemini, ChatGPT)
- Comfortable explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities

- $30-$40/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience
