Role Description

This existing vacancy is open to candidates that reside in the United States and Canada. We’re launching a high-performing Outbound Business Development team to scale pipeline across our Mid-Market and Global Enterprise segments. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be focused on executing strategic outbound campaigns, connecting with target prospects, and booking qualified meetings that generate real pipeline.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to execute refined sequences—bringing thoughtful outreach, buyer research, and personalization to every touch. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the ground floor of a fast-moving team and contribute meaningfully to our outbound strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn to book high-quality meetings
  • Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach.io, and Sales Navigator to manage outreach and track progress
  • Personalize messaging using insights from company news, industry trends, buyer roles, and segment signals
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Enablement to optimize pre-built sequences—suggest messaging adjustments, share performance insights, and test variants
  • Partner with AEs on account prioritization, meeting handoffs, and pipeline quality
  • Maintain high daily and weekly activity levels: calls, emails, connects, and prospects added to sequences
  • Track interactions and next steps cleanly in Salesforce; ensure clarity and accountability during handoffs

Success Metrics

  • Completed, qualified meetings booked
  • Pipeline sourced from outbound efforts
  • Touchpoint and sequence adherence
  • Connect rates, reply rates, and conversion rates to opportunity (SQL)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role (preferably in SaaS or tech)
  • History of meeting or exceeding activity and performance quotas
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach.io (or similar), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
  • A builder’s mindset—you’re curious, collaborative, and energized by refining process and strategy (even if you’re not owning it)
  • Confident, professional communicator—written and spoken
  • Coachability and hunger for feedback and growth

Benefits

  • Generous time off programs
  • Medical/dental coverage, retirement (with employer match)
  • Parental leave plans for all family types
  • Job shadowing programs and one-on-one coaching opportunities
  • Tuition reimbursement for continuing education, advanced degrees, and certifications
  • Remote-first and flexible work schedule to fit your family’s needs
  • Monthly stipend to make your home office more comfortable, productive, and successful
  • Corporate wellness and personalized preventative mental health care programs

Compensation

The expected On-Target Earnings (OTE = base salary + variable) range for this position is between $87,285 and $124,465 USD (United States) or $79,365 and $127,710 CAD (Canada). We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range and offers at the maximum of the range are uncommon. The final offered salary will be based on candidate's proficiency in skill set, prior relevant experience, internal equity, market considerations, and other factors. This role is eligible for a Variable Pay Program. This role is also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
