Job Description

• Research and resolve suspense issues from external sources and internal reviews • Independently research complex suspense issues • Gather documentation necessary to cure issues • Exercise judgment in prioritizing and resolving issues • Input and maintain information within the Loan Origination System • Identify trends and recommend process improvements • Build relationships with investors and internal employees • Ensure loans are purchased within the time frame set by Capital Markets • Maintain company service level and turn-time standards

Job Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, processing, or related roles
Experience with Jumbo, Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
Familiarity with origination loan documents, closing documents, credit and income documents
Experience reviewing and completing income calculations
Ability to communicate documentation requests to borrowers
Understanding of compliance requirements for Disclosure documents
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues
Ability to collaborate across teams
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
