This position is 100% remote anywhere in the US.
Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is a 10-week program that begins Monday June 8, 2026 and ends Friday August 14, 2026. The AI Engineering Intern will work closely with the Chief Information Officer team.
The Intern, AI Engineering will support the development of AI‑powered solutions embedded in real internal business workflows. This internship focuses on applying large language models (LLMs) and automation to improve productivity, decision‑making, and employee experience. Key deliverables include:
- Working prototypes
- Documented prompts or agents
- Measurable improvements from pilot use cases
What you will do:
- Build and test AI‑powered prototypes using LLMs and APIs
- Design, refine, and evaluate prompts for enterprise use cases
- Support development of lightweight agents, bots, or automations
- Integrate AI solutions into internal tools and workflows
- Document solutions and technical decisions
- Measure and report productivity or quality improvements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business teams
Qualifications
- College/University enrollment in a Computer Science, Engineering or related program
- Experience with Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with APIs, AI tools, or LLM concepts
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly in an enterprise environment
