The Senior Solution Architect will conduct continuous operational analysis of client business processes, leveraging technical expertise to provide architectural guidance for migrating mission-critical financial applications from IBM Mainframe platforms to modern, cloud-enabled architectures. Key duties include reviewing current mainframe architecture, proposing future state solutions, leading implementation of modern technical solutions, and communicating requirements to development teams.

The Enterprise Architect will own the end-to-end enterprise architecture for Ping's Buyer and Customer Journeys, mapping key processes and connecting them to underlying systems and data owners. They will also support scalable enterprise architectures for AI initiatives and govern platform and application choices based on TCO, scalability, and speed to value.

The Enterprise Architect will define and maintain current-state and target-state architectures across application, integration, data, and security domains, creating roadmaps to modernize platforms and reduce technical debt. This role also establishes reusable reference architectures, drives integration strategy, embeds security controls, and defines non-functional excellence criteria for production systems.

The candidate will perform systems analysis and design to enhance the integration, functionality, and performance of enterprise IT solutions for the Department of the Interior (DoI) Human Resources Directorate (HRD). Duties include performing systems integration across heterogeneous platforms, assisting with enterprise system design for scalability and security, and collaborating with stakeholders to define system specifications.
