• Lead experience design initiatives and help set strategy by evaluating and identifying the intersection of business needs, customer needs, and technical opportunities, informed by qualitative and quantitative insights • Provide systems thinking through conception and visualization how different systems (products, platforms) work and fit together — and create frameworks for these • Partner closely with product management and engineering to translate our goals into unique, cohesive, scalable platform experiences • Plan and facilitate design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges • Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagrams • Plan and conduct customer research activities and quantitative testing throughout the project lifecycle, including collaborative sessions with customers and development partners to validate designs and make iterative improvements • Demonstrate thought leadership by engaging with designers throughout the company and beyond to mentor and share best design principles and practices and promote collaboration • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Autodesk remains innovative and competitive beyond our current capabilities
