Role Description

Inside Sales is responsible for small to medium sales transactions in an assigned sales channel. This role will work closely with the Sales Development Representative, Account Executive, and Sales head on assigned accounts within the vertical.

Note – Candidate should have knowledge in government procurement processes. This is not a hunter role, but must possess ability to upsell.

  • Partner closely with SDR, AE, and Sales head for assigned vertical
  • Lead discovery, present, negotiate and close opportunities as defined in sales playbook
  • Timely follow up on Sales Qualified Leads as defined through the sales process
  • Prospect, develop, and close leads to meet or exceed revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Actively maintain and nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Participate in sales training and professional development opportunities
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of client fulfillment and customer service
  • Assist with preparation of weekly sales forecast and pipeline development
  • Maintain data capture within CRM for alignment of key performance metrics
  • Develop understanding of industry trends, market activities, and competitors

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Office) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Works effectively within a team, balancing individual responsibilities with the needs and goals of the wider team and company
  • Demonstrated ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all internal and external levels
  • Effective problem-solver
  • Excellent negotiation, networking, and prospecting skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for the role
  • 2+ years of direct experience in related field
