Role Description
The Billing and Contract Closeout Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end government contract billing lifecycle. This role includes:
- Contract and indirect project setup
- Billing execution
- Accounts receivable and collections
- Contract closeout activities
Ensuring compliance with FAR, CAS (as applicable), and DCAA and customer billing system adequacy requirements. The Supervisor serves as a key internal control owner and primary billing liaison to various internal departments and external customers.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of government contract billing lifecycle from pre-award to closeout
- Advanced knowledge of FAR billing requirements and cost principles
- Thorough knowledge of ERP systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills
- High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Five or more years of billing experience in the government contracting environment
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
