Role Description

The Customer Success Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring healthcare organizations maximize the value of their contract management platform. This position blends technical expertise, data analysis, and client collaboration to support accurate interpretation of payer contracts, configure reimbursement rules, and validate contract performance. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to resolve technical issues, optimize workflows, and drive customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex healthcare data into actionable solutions. You will be part of a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where your work directly improves the financial transparency and operational efficiency of healthcare organizations.

  • Interpret complex healthcare payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies, translating them into system configurations.
  • Configure managed care contracts, fee schedules, and reimbursement rules within the platform.
  • Validate reimbursement calculations and payment logic across Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial payers.
  • Analyze healthcare data using SQL and relational databases to ensure accurate contract performance.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or technical issues impacting contract configuration.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to implement optimizations and troubleshoot escalated customer issues.
  • Collaborate directly with healthcare clients to address questions, provide guidance, and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, managed care contracting, payer relations, or contract administration.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and working with healthcare financial or claims datasets.
  • Strong understanding of managed care contracts, reimbursement models, and healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience interpreting Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and commercial payer contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and devise solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate functional issues into product enhancements.
  • Preferred: experience implementing revenue cycle or contract management platforms and working with reimbursement modeling.
