Role Description
The Regional Manager of Recreational Tennis will serve as a key member of the USTA PNW’s Recreation Department to grow the game of tennis in Alaska.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of RecTennis programs
- Build partnerships with schools, parks, and local agencies
- Recruit, train, schedule, and support seasonal Site Directors and Instructors
- Be a consistent point of connection for on-court staff
- Oversee registrations, rosters, customer data, and required systems
- Support timekeeping and administrative processes
- Assist with local promotion and grassroots outreach
- Support registration growth for new and existing programs
- Provide on-court support when needed and help lead community events
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Relevant coaching experience preferred
- Must reside in the geographical area being served (Anchorage, Alaska preferred)
- Passion for serving communities and spreading the mission of USTA PNW
- Ability to facilitate recruiting, interviewing, training, leading and motivating staff
- Experience leading and managing seasonal or part-time employees preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong self-starter experience
- General knowledge of the region and major recreational providers and school districts preferred
- Computer and digital platform skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Requirements
- Must be able to pass background checks and Motor Vehicle check
- Must be able to prove authorization to work in the United States per our E-Verify vendor
- Must have the ability to be SafePlay approved and remain SafePlay approved throughout tenure at USTA PNW
- Must complete the required USTA SafeSport online education course
- Must sign USTA PNW Offer Letter, Employee Handbook, and all required policies and procedures as needed

- Hourly pay ranging from $23-$25 per hour based on experience
- 144 hours of Paid Time Off earned annually and 12 Paid Holidays annually
