Role Description

We are looking for a full-time Quality Management Systems Consultant to join our team. Ledge Inc. is headquartered in Spring Grove, PA, but this role is home-office based and does not require regular presence at the Spring Grove office.

The consultant will primarily support manufacturing clients across Western Pennsylvania and Ohio, working from a home office and traveling to customer sites as needed. Regional travel is expected to range from 40–50% of the time.

While the primary focus of this position is supporting customers in Western PA and Ohio, occasional travel to client locations across the United States may be required to support projects, audits, or consulting engagements.

The Quality Management Systems Consultant will provide consulting services including:

  • Quality Management System implementation
  • Internal audits
  • Quality assurance support
  • Operational improvement initiatives

Focus areas include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100 environments. This role requires strong customer focus, adaptability to new challenges, and a high level of professional integrity. The position offers compensation averaging $75,000, along with opportunities for professional growth and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Analytical Skills, Management Consulting, and Consulting, specifically ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS9100 a strong plus.
  • Ability to lead a quality team in a fractional role, driving improvement, maintaining compliance, communicating with OEM/Customers and supporting prioritizing tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 Years in Manufacturing, min 1 Year in Quality Systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in consulting and/or project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, AS9100 Training, IATF 16949, Core Tools, Food Safety or equivalent, are highly desirable.
