Role Description
Join ENTRUST's Power Generation group as a fulltime-Sr. Consulting Engineer focused on supporting steam turbines engineering activities. This position offers remote and hybrid schedule options with minimal travel required.
As a key member of our team, you will serve as the subject matter expert and company resource for steam turbine consulting projects. You'll:
- Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded.
- Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions, demonstrating your technical expertise in turbine and generator engineering to execute projects independently.
- Assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions.
- Interface with industry organizations such as EPRI.
With a travel requirement of up to 10-15% for site visits, client meetings, and conferences, this role offers a dynamic and engaging opportunity to make a significant impact on the business side of the industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering.
- 8 - 10+ years of demonstrated experience in steam turbine and generator engineering, or services-related roles.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering, calculations, assessments, and analyses.
- Willingness to travel as required to support projects and business development initiatives.
