Role Description

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications within complex financial systems. You will work on modernizing cloud-native platforms, building both backend services and responsive frontend interfaces, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability across the stack. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product, security, DevOps, and architecture, contributing to long-term modernization initiatives. You will leverage Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and AWS technologies to develop scalable, containerized solutions that meet enterprise standards. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, stability, and security of mission-critical banking and financial applications. The position offers opportunities for technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on engagement in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
• Build modern, responsive frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring accessibility and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that meet enterprise standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Amazon ECS, optimizing cloud-native workloads.
• Design resilient cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS services in line with enterprise architecture standards.
• Implement and optimize relational database solutions (PostgreSQL/MySQL) with complex query development and performance tuning.
• Collaborate across teams, participate in architectural reviews, and contribute to long-term platform modernization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding standards, governance frameworks, and performance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack software engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong backend development skills in Kotlin and production-grade microservices using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and containerized workloads (Amazon ECS).
• Solid frontend development experience with React and modern JavaScript, including TypeScript.
• Proficiency in relational database design and advanced SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, version control, and enterprise release processes.
• Understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
