Job Description

• Act as liaison to accounting departments to resolve accounting issues and manage year-end process. • Tracks and maintains online database of grants submitted, awarded, rejected, etc. • Works with PIs to provide fund management and make any necessary budgetary changes. • Approves purchasing documents and provides guidance to purchasing staff on appropriate expenditures. • Updates and forecasts grant expenditures for faculty grant portfolios. • Ensures timely implementation of contracts and subcontracts by managing processes. • Creates and processes correspondence with granting agencies. • Monitors invoices for outgoing subawards. • Coordinates internal and external requests for grant-related information. • Responsible for closure of grant accounts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years).
  • Knowledge of SUBS system.
  • Knowledge of agency guidelines.
  • Skills: Accounting Processes, Adobe Acrobat, Analytical Thinking, Computerized Accounting, Grant Administration, Grants Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Workday Software.
