Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute the planning and scheduling process.
- Communicate schedules to technicians, Operations Management, and Customers.
- Add new and generate existing Inspection Plans, Preventative Maintenance, and Corrective Work Orders as requested.
- Assemble work schedule that takes into account equipment needs, equipment availability, labor needs, and labor availability.
- Work closely with the Directors of Operations, Operations Service Manager, and Supply Chain to optimize scheduled work.
- Comply with work prioritization process with operations, engineering, quality, safety, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate and adhere to our Field Service (CMMS) standards and usage.
- Perform basic data analysis on Field Service, SCADA, and/or IoT information in order to plan maintenance and determine areas of opportunities.
- Point person for Field Service setup around new capital.
- Support the site with technical issues as they arise.
- Participate in problem-solving activities.
- Participate in preventive maintenance development.
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Basic understanding of maintenance metrics and the business significance of the metrics (Planned).
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, plus 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Planning, Operations, Customer Service, or Inside Sales experience.
- Possess sophisticated, professional oral and written communication ability.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of e-mail/scheduling software applications.
- Experience with ERP software, such as Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Epicor, or SAP.
