• As the Accountant II, you are a direct contributor to the financial statement close process • Responsible for month-end closing tasks such as accrual and deferral journal entries • Balance sheet account reconciliations and various other ad hoc corporate accounting tasks • Assisting with various reporting activities for various internal customers • Ownership of assigned areas in the general ledger • Prepare journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, including preparation of appropriate supporting documentation that meets SOX requirements • Provide support for internal and external audits/reviews in a timely manner • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley procedures which supports an effective system of internal control • Perform analysis of financial results by querying financial data and creating reports
