Job Description
Role Description
Currently, we are seeking passionate and creative teachers to assist with our growing need for virtual tutoring. This unique position will involve working remotely, providing academic support to middle and high school students as they are out of school for medical, behavioral, or various unique reasons.
- Teachers must be state-certified and can assist with K-12 core subjects.
- Many of our students need assistance in high school math and science.
- In this role, teachers provide virtual tutoring support to students in a 1:1 and small group setting.
- Main responsibility is to act as an aide for the student, guiding them through educational material and ensuring their academic success.
Availability and Schedule:
- Position requires consistent availability Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–10:00 PM EST.
- Minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week.
- Preference will be given to candidates who can increase availability during peak season (November–early June).
- This is a 100% remote role; candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a computer in their home workspace.
Compensation:
- Candidates who meet preferred criteria—such as advanced credentials, specialized experience, or demonstrated expertise—may be eligible for higher compensation where applicable (e.g., NY, IL LBS1, NJ Standard, MN licenses).
- All teachers are compensated for both instructional sessions and designated daily administrative time.

- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Massachusetts teaching license
- Comfortable working with Middle and High school students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs, especially in High School Math and Science
- Reliable internet connection, working computer and distraction-free workspace
