Role Description

The Financial Analyst at Point & Pay is responsible for assisting with monthly/weekly cadences, performing operational and/or other ad-hoc financial analyses, managing certain financial processes, and providing decision support. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented, analytical person with a strong aptitude for problem solving.

• Evaluate financial issues and data. Provide analysis and other support to various members of the management team.
• Prepare month end financial presentations, including performing variance analysis and providing commentary.
• Provide recommendations on business decisions such as pricing. Periodically measure the performance of past decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Organize and structure workload to meet daily, weekly, monthly, & annual deadlines.
• Perform client account reconciliations, including identifying, evaluating, and resolving issues and concerns.
• Assist with monthly P/L and cost analysis.
• Perform Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum three years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience using analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills.
• MS Office / Google Suite.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Resourceful and creative problem solver.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to perform with minimum supervision and make decisions independently.

Requirements

• Moderate SQL manipulation skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new software packages and systems.
• Strong research, reporting, and data manipulation skills.
• Experience in the Payments or Fintech industries.
• Travel Requirements: 10%.
