Job Description
Role Description
We're currently looking for a freelance Senior Motion Graphics Artist to join our digital team as a remote independent contractor. This role will work closely with our creative teams, specifically our Digital/Social sector, collaborating daily on high-profile entertainment campaigns.
- Create animated motion posters from key art, for Digital, Social, and OOH.
- Bring an elevated and polished animation that goes beyond the basics.
- Collaborate with existing motion design team and oversight from senior staff.
- Work constructively with producers, account managers, or other team members, as applicable.
- Understand and use appropriate templates, toolkits, PSDs, fonts, and other AE projects created internally or provided by clients.
- Occasionally ideate motion storyboards and concepts.
Qualifications
- Experience in motion graphics, VFX, compositing, and animating still assets.
- Advanced proficiency with After Effects and native 3D, cameras, and lights.
- Experience with common plugins (Maxon, Optical Flares, etc).
- Understanding of digital video formats and export settings.
- Proven cinematic design sensibility and ability to make a visual connection to the project narrative.
- A fast, reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large files.
- Highly reliable, self-disciplined, and comfortable working independently with tight turnarounds.
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Requirements
- Rate: $300 - $750 USD per day.
- Please note: You will be asked to provide your freelance rate during the application process. However, final rates are based on qualifications, years of relevant experience, and overall skill set. If your rate falls outside the stated range, we still encourage you to apply.

- Official working hours are 9:30am–6:30pm PST. Hours may fluctuate based on client needs and delivery timelines.
- This position is fully remote and must be available to work on PST.
