Job Description
The Director of Security Engineering and Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight across the Information Security Engineering, Security Operations, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) functions. In this role you will ensure alignment of engineering, operations, and identity programs with organizational objectives, regulatory obligations, and industry best practices.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Oversee the strategic direction for engineering, operations, and IAM programs, ensuring cohesive multi‑year roadmaps across all teams.
Partner with the CISO to align departmental strategies, budgets, technology acquisitions, and staffing with business needs.
Guide managers in developing departmental roadmaps and ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture and governance.
Facilitate alignment across engineering, operations, and IAM to ensure seamless integration of controls, processes, and technologies.
Review and approve recommendations for security technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Serve as an escalation point during security incidents or IAM challenges.
Oversee creation and publication of policies, standards, and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree Information Security, Information Systems, MBA, or other related field - Required -OR-
10 years' experience in lieu of degree - Required
8 years progressive leadership experience across security domains - Required
5 years Healthcare industry experience - Preferred
CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or comparable certifications obtained within 1 year of hire - Required
