Role Description
The Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Retirement Specialist Senior. Under the supervision of the Active Members Supervisor, this position is responsible for:
- Communicating with and educating members and employers on a wide variety of business specific topics ranging from general inquiries to significantly complex subject matter.
- Researching and resolving member and employer issues, actions related to the appeals process, and basic to intermediate analysis of business statistics.
- Working in a hybrid work environment with identified day(s) each week in office and remote.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Previous experience as a Retirement Specialist or equivalent, working in a Public Retirement System or 2-3 years of customer service experience communicating complex information.
- Proven experience meeting call center metrics.
Requirements
- Employment is contingent on passing a background investigation to include credit and criminal history.
- All newly hired State employees must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
