Job Description
Velosio is seeking a Product Manager, Progressus Advanced Projects to own the vision, roadmap, and execution of our Progressus solution within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring the product aligns with market needs, business strategy, and customer outcomes while driving cross-functional execution across development, consulting, sales, and support.
This is a hands-on product leadership role that blends strategy, execution, and stakeholder enablement to deliver measurable value for customers and internal teams.
Your day might look like:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own and communicate the product vision and roadmap for Progressus Advanced Projects
Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives
Review and refine roadmap priorities on a quarterly basis
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to inform strategy
Customer & Market Insights
Partner with IP, consulting, and support teams to gather customer feedback and requirements
Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks
Use customer insights to guide backlog prioritization and product decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between development, sales, consulting, marketing, and support teams
Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Partner closely with development during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and execution
Collaborate with documentation and functional teams to support releases and adoption
Stakeholder Communication
Provide regular updates on roadmap progress, release timing, and priorities
Communicate risks, blockers, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership and stakeholders
Respond to inbound requests from sales, consulting, and support teams
Customer & Partner Engagement
Participate in customer calls to clarify requirements and gather feedback
Review support cases to identify recurring issues and enhancement opportunities
Support webinars, advisory councils, and customer update sessions as needed
Backlog & Requirements Management
Own and prioritize the product backlog
Create, refine, and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria
Review bugs regularly and prioritize based on customer and business impact
Ensure backlog items are development-ready prior to sprint execution
Release Planning & Delivery
Coordinate release schedules, sprint cutoffs, and delivery milestones
Create and maintain release documentation and SharePoint content
Oversee QA, UAT, and test environment readiness
Maintain release notes, documentation, and supporting materials
Facilitate daily scrums, sprint ceremonies, and retrospectives
What you'll bring:
Product & Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and project accounting / PSA solutions
Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and QA processes
Analytical & Strategic Skills
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
Comfortable analyzing usage data, adoption trends, and performance metrics
Able to balance short-term delivery with long-term product strategy
Communication & Collaboration
Excellent communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
Strong facilitation skills for sprint ceremonies and cross-functional sessions
Ability to clearly articulate product vision to stakeholders and leadership
Ownership & Execution
Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities
Strong attention to detail with a bias toward execution
Commitment to continuous improvement and product quality
5+ years of experience in product management or a related role
Experience working with enterprise SaaS, ERP, or PSA solutions
Hands-on experience working with Agile development teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
