Role Description

We’re looking for an Account Director to join our Client Services team in the US on a 6‑month contract, bringing your expertise in medical communications and strategic account leadership to some of our key client partnerships. In this role, you’ll provide support across high‑profile accounts, building strong relationships and driving value for clients and their brands (Oncology). You’ll work with a talented, multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding work that meets budget, timelines, and client expectations, while spotting opportunities for growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with multiple clients on a range of medical affairs and publications projects, ensuring strategic alignment, flawless execution, and real-world impact.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain trusted client partnerships, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Provide strategic and commercial insight to add value across accounts and deliverables.
  • Lead and motivate account teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Drive financial performance, ensuring KPIs are achieved.

Qualifications

  • Strong client services experience achieved within a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency.
  • Experience working on medical affairs and publications deliverables is essential.
  • Skilled in client relationship management and strategic planning.
  • A natural leader who inspires teams and creates a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

  • $125,000 - $135,000 a year.
