Role Description

The Insurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding staff that are assigned to client-contracted work, ensuring quality performance and adherence to project goals. This role ensures that staff are being supported and mentored in their professional growth while monitoring their performance and attendance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
  • 1 year in a senior or lead role
  • Proficiency in navigating EHR billing platforms
  • Working knowledge of billing and insurance collections
  • 5 years of experience with healthcare transactions such as billing, insurance follow-up, government and non-government, hospital and physician, denials management, under payments/zero payments and other revenue cycle functions
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Delegation and leadership capabilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • 2 years in a senior or lead role (preferred)
  • Prior remote work experience (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients and leadership (preferred)
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize and multitask (preferred)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • As a condition of employment, a pre-employment background check will be conducted
