Role Description
As our Paid Ads Specialist, you are equal parts strategist and executor. You are comfortable in the weeds of campaign setup for one hour and thinking through creative angles the next. You have a builder’s mentality and a bias toward action. This is a dual-platform role. You own Google Ads and Meta Ads across a portfolio of owner-managed business clients. You’re not a button-pusher — you understand performance, think about the customer journey, and actively use AI to work faster and smarter.
You are hungry. You want more reps, more learning, and more results. You are not precious about your skill set — you flex where the work demands it. And you are genuinely excited about the role AI is playing in how ads are built, managed, and optimized. You bring energy, curiosity, and accountability to every campaign you touch.
Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Build, launch, and manage Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns from brief through reporting
- Set up campaign structures designed for testing, learning, and scaling
- Manage budgets and pacing across multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Write ad copy that converts — headlines, descriptions, and primary text across both platforms
- Produce or direct ad creative, including static images and short-form video concepts
- Use AI tools to accelerate creative development, copy iteration, and campaign setup

Performance Management
- Monitor campaigns daily and make optimization decisions quickly
- Run structured A/B tests on copy, creative, audiences, and landing pages
- Identify what is and is not working and adjust fast — without waiting to be told
- Report on performance clearly in weekly and monthly client-facing formats
- Track ROAS, CPA, CPL, and other account-level KPIs against client benchmarks

AI-Powered Ads Workflow
- Actively integrate AI tools into your day-to-day ads workflow (copy, creative, setup, analysis)
- Stay current on AI-native features within Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Bring new AI workflow ideas and tools to the team — we expect you to lead on this
- Use AI-generated creative as a starting point, not a shortcut — always apply strategic judgment

Cross-Functional & Client Coordination
- Align paid ads execution with SEO, email, and organic content strategy
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and copywriters to ensure creative is on-brief
- Communicate budget usage and performance clearly to internal stakeholders
- Surface opportunities to expand paid strategy within existing client accounts

Operational Excellence
- Execute within established naming conventions, tagging standards, and reporting workflows
- Maintain organized account structures that others can read and navigate
- Document learnings and contribute to our library of paid ads best practices
- Support process improvements that increase efficiency and repeatability across accounts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on Google Ads and Meta Ads management (not just oversight)
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and improve ROAS or CPL over time
- Experience managing paid campaigns across multiple clients or brands simultaneously
- Comfort with ad creative — either producing it directly or directing a designer with specificity
- Experience using AI tools in a marketing or ads context (required, not a bonus)
- Familiarity with landing page performance, conversion tracking, and pixel/tag setup
- Experience in an agency, fractional, or multi-client environment is strongly preferred
