Role Description
This Level 25 role belongs to the Global Technology Business Management group and runs the operating system maintaining GT leadership cadences, planning, and narratives. This ensures the CoS remains focused on BoD, GLO, and other eBay-level strategic work.
Works closely with:
- Sr. Manager, Business Operations (L27) (planning & operating model)
- GT business partners
- GT Biz Ops/CoS network
Support/enablement:
- AWF (tech engagement programs)
- Dotted-line coordination across the GT Biz Ops community
Core Responsibilities

Executive cadence ownership (run the machine)
- Own end-to-end operating cadence for key GT leadership forums (e.g., GT Ops Review / GTOR).
- Maintain the single source of truth for decisions, actions, and recurring asks across GT leadership touchpoints.
- Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews and operating reviews.

Planning + initiative operating model (pull work down from L27 where appropriate)
- Run the program management spine for strategic planning.
- Stand up and maintain the operating model for org-level initiatives.
- Translate strategy into concrete, prioritized execution plans.
- Maintain planning documentation and process guides.

Narrative + representation (how GT shows up)
- Build and lead the GT narrative pipeline for executive and enterprise-level audiences.
- Partner with internal communications to ensure consistency of voice and messaging.
- Develop visibility for GT through documentation and reporting.

Information architecture + knowledge base (Hub / Wiki / Drive)
- Own GT front door + intranet information architecture.
- Lead regular inventory and hygiene.
- Ensure onboarding artifacts are maintained and discoverable.

Force-multiplier + special projects
- Act as the CoS’s delegate to drive cross-team follow-ups.
- Serve as the CoS’s right-hand for day-to-day operating needs.
- Own complex, cross-functional programs from definition to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Business Partner teams on headcount planning and budget alignment.
- Support organizational health programs and translate org health signals into prioritized action plans.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Program Management, Product Operations, or Engineering Operations within a technology organization.
- Proven experience operating as a strategic partner to an engineering and/or product leader.
- Analytical rigor: ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights.
- Strong executive communication: distill sophisticated topics into concise narratives.
- Proven track record to lead through ambiguity and prioritize contending demands.
- Experience collaborating with HR/People and Finance, and handling sensitive/confidential matters.
- Strong program and project management subject area: clear plans, achievements, risks, and diligent follow-through.
Requirements
- Base pay range: $86,800 - $150,100.
- Base pay offered may vary depending on location, skills, and experience.
- Total compensation package may include target bonus and restricted stock units.
- Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided upon offer of employment.
- Employees will be in an “at-will position.”
