The Job

At Omnidian, design is central to how we simplify clean energy for clients and customers. We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to help us turn complex data and systems into intuitive, elegant experiences that empower users and accelerate our renewable energy mission.

As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll lead the design of data-rich interfaces that bring clarity and insight to our clients, customers and internal users. You’ll use AI-enhanced design workflows to create scalable, cohesive design systems and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across our platforms. This role partners closely with Software Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to shape the future of Omnidian’s products and will be responsible for mentoring junior designers. This role reports to the Director of Software Product and joins our growing Software Product team.

• Lead UX design with a strong emphasis on end to end user flows.
• Transform complex data into clear, actionable user experiences.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering and Operations to drive impact.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system and reusable components. 
• Utilize AI tools and methods to accelerate and enhance the design process.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, including offshore teammates.

• You bring a balance of creative vision and practical execution — pairing craft with clear business impact.
• You’re fluent in technology and systems thinking, and know how to design for scale.
• You communicate with clarity and empathy - listening first, then influencing through design.
• You foster a positive, respectful and inclusive team culture and help others grow along the way.
• You’re curious, adaptable and energized by solving complex problems with simplicity.
• You are adept at collaborating with others across business functions.
• You’re comfortable operating independently when goals are clear, and proactive about figuring out the rest.
• You are curious, inclusive, and grounded — leading with empathy, not ego.

• You have 5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, ideally for data-heavy or B2B platforms.
• You are an expert in Figma and comfortable using AI design tools
• You are a strong communicator who balances creativity with pragmatism.
• You have a strong background in a variety of user research methodologies.
