Job Requirements
- Highschool graduate or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 1-3 years professional/healthcare preferred
- 1-3 years Accounts Receivable experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Basic math skills for calculating anesthesia units
- Understanding of Medical terminology
- Advanced knowledge of insurance processing
- Data entry skills with high accuracy
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and ASA codes

The representative will support patients and staff by providing expert system knowledge, accurate billing, insurance verification, and resolving account issues. Key duties include reviewing guarantor accounts, working AR aging reports, resolving claim issues, and following up with third-party payors for reimbursement.
The primary purpose of this role is to train and assist business office managers and staff on accurate and efficient billing practices while monitoring the timely collection of accounts receivable across multiple operations. This position ensures the exact recording of revenue transactions in healthcare industry locations and oversees outpatient collection trends to identify areas for improvement.
