Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Direct sales experience is a major plus; moving industry background is ideal but not required because we’ll train the right person!
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and comfortable learning new platforms.
  • Confident working with pricing calculations, percentages, ratios, and profitability analysis.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Sales & Revenue Generation:
    • Meet and crush established sales volume and call metrics.
    • Deliver compelling virtual sales presentations that convert prospects into clients.
    • Conduct virtual surveys and provide accurate, competitive estimates.
    • Develop customized pricing packages that maximize profitability and win rates.
  • Customer Experience Excellence:
    • Answer inbound inquiries within target metrics to maintain high service levels.
    • Clearly communicate customer requirements to operations teams.
    • Ensure expectations are set and exceeded throughout the moving journey.
  • Reporting & Accountability:
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and survey dates.
    • Produce weekly activity reports and RAP (Revenue Achievement Performance) reports.
    • Track performance against goals and adjust strategies to stay on target.

Technical Requirements

  • Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; primarily sedentary office work with computer use.
  • Vision Requirements: Close/peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus for extended screen time.
  • Certifications: None required.
  • Supervisory Role: No direct reports—focus 100% on selling and serving customers.
