Role Description: 2026 Summer & Fall Co-op – IT Engineering (Boston onsite)
Role Purpose:
Wasabi Technologies is seeking a motivated IT Co-op student to join our Information Technology team for the Summer 2026 term. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting a fast-growing global organization. You will assist with daily IT operations, contribute to technical projects, and learn how enterprise technology environments are designed, secured, and scaled. You will work closely with senior IT professionals while supporting identity management, endpoint management, SaaS platforms, security tooling, and service desk operations.
Please note: Students must currently reside in the United States to be eligible for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support through the ticketing system.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning.
- Support endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, and other MDM platforms.
- Maintain asset tracking, documentation, and internal knowledge resources.
- Assist with SaaS platform configuration and troubleshooting.
- Participate in IT automation initiatives and cross-functional technology projects.
Program Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Windows and macOS environments, and comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues.
- The co-op will work in our Boston office four days per week.
- Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow, and exposure to identity and access management tools like Okta is a plus.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Jamf, Intune) and interest in cybersecurity or automation.
Base Salary – $32 per hour.
The base salary range reflects the full range for this position at Wasabi Technologies. At Wasabi, we believe in paying fairly and competitively, and individual compensation is determined based on factors such as job-related experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Base pay is just one part of our total rewards approach. Depending on role eligibility, Wasabi team members may also receive additional compensation and benefits, including bonus or variable compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both professional growth and personal well-being.
