Job Description

• Collaborate within your team to build new features that expand Notetaker functionality and add support for additional user types. • Contribute to platform scaling initiatives. • Meet regularly with Product and Design to fine tune requirements. • Attend agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done. • Work across squads to improve Engineering practices at Calendly. • Review implementation plans and pull requests from your peers. • Mentor and coach other team members.

Job Requirements

8+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
Professional experience with Node is preferred. Experience with React or a comparable UI framework is also desirable.
Professional experience with TypeScript.
Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs.
Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and involvement in significant product-scaling initiatives.
Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.
Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choices.
Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours.
