Role Description
Koniag Technology & Innovation Solutions (KTIS) is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support KTIS and our government customer with ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) implementation to support a 24/7 contact center. This is a remote role. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.
The ServiceNow Architect/Developer will lead and support new ServiceNow implementations for a federal help desk ticketing environment. This role requires both architectural leadership and hands-on development, including platform design, configuration, and integration.
The ideal candidate has experience building ServiceNow environments from the ground up (greenfield deployments), defining platform standards, and guiding teams through implementation and adoption. Experience integrating ServiceNow with Amazon Connect or contact center platforms is highly desirable.
This individual will be energetic and committed to operational excellence and capable of supporting U.S. federal government programs across teams of varying sizes to achieve client objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Implementation
- Lead design and implementation of a new ServiceNow help desk/ticketing platform
- Define platform architecture, development standards, and governance practices
- Configure and deploy out-of-the-box and custom ServiceNow applications
- Design data models, workflows, and service catalog structures
- Establish role-based access control and security model

Development & Configuration
- Develop and configure workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations
- Build and support scoped ServiceNow applications
- Configure ITSM/CSM modules and case management processes
- Implement automation and orchestration to improve operational efficiency

Integration
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Support API-based integrations and event-driven architecture
- (Bonus) Integrate ServiceNow with Amazon Connect or contact center platforms

Operational Support
- Support platform operations, enhancements, and continuous improvement
- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Assist in release management and deployment activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development/architecture experience
- Experience implementing ServiceNow in a new deployment or major re-implementation
- Strong experience with ITSM and/or CSM modules
- Experience designing workflows, automation, and service catalog structures
- Experience with systems integration (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Preferred / Desired Experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certification
- Experience with CSM, ITSM, ITAM, or SecOps modules
- Experience implementing role-based access and enterprise authentication (SSO/MFA)
- Experience with Amazon Connect integration or contact center platforms
- Experience with Now Assist / AI capabilities
- Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
Professional Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, client-focused environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive consensus across teams
