Role Description
ArborWorks is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to support our fast-paced Minnesota operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who has some prior administrative experience and is ready to grow their career in a demanding but rewarding environment.
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day clerical support, assist with inventory management and tracking, and help keep business operations running smoothly. This position requires someone who can manage multiple priorities at once, stay organized under pressure, and communicate clearly with both office staff and field employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing mail, and maintaining files.
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and preparing reports as needed.
- Support inventory management by tracking supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate office activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and field employees.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when handling paperwork and records.
- Perform other clerical and support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support business operations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with inventory management or supply tracking systems.
- Prior experience in a field services, construction, or vegetation management environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish).
