Job Description
Role Description
Under general supervision, the Quick Foto Claims Auto Adjuster is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service and attention to customers who have a vehicle that needs repaired. The individual inspects vehicle damage from photos, writes damage repair estimates, negotiates basic and occasionally moderately complex settlements with repair facilities, and estimates repair times for rental/loss of use.
- Negotiates and settles basic and occasionally moderately complex claims in accordance with business unit best practices.
- Investigates basic and occasionally moderately complex files, reviews damage, and determines reparability or total loss.
- Prepares damage estimates and locates parts for basic and occasionally moderately complex claims.
- Collaborates with repair shops if there is an existing estimate to reconcile differences and reach an agreement on repairs.
- Provides inbound call support and maintains Avaya phone availability.
- Processes claims payments and pays appropriate parties.
- Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process.

- The Investigator: You’ll confidently and independently investigate claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
- The Effective Communicator: You’ll use phone, emails, and sometimes even video chat with customers to help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process.
- The Negotiator: You will evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers, and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies.
- The Problem Solver: You’ll utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms.
- The Recorder: You’ll protect the company financially by executing policies along policy agreements, and you keep a clear record of your work in a claims system.
