Sentara Health is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist!
Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)
Work hours: 8am to 5pm, EST. There is a rotating weekend (Sat and Sun) schedule (1 weekend every 4 weeks) and rotating holidays (1 holiday per year). Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, with the understanding that the work schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
Job Description Summary
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, age appropriate therapy, and other information as related to medical and/or pharmaceutical care management.
Education
Bachelor's Level Degree in Pharmacy required
Certification/Licensure
Pharmacist License in FL and willing to get a secondary license in VA
Will consider new graduated pharmacists and pharmacists not licensed in Virginia due to relocation.
Must have Virginia license within 90 days of Sentara start date.
Experience
At least 3 years of experience (or a residency in managed care could count in lieu of experience)
Experience with online pharmacy adjudication systems required (i.e., PA Hub)
