Position Overview:
The Condo Loan Processor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and file quality. This position obtains and verifies necessary documentation for analyzing the condo project and communicating directly with the condo reviewers and/or loan officers. The Condo Loan Processor works with Homeowners Associations (HOA’s), Loan Officers, Project Reviewers, agencies, and other professional services.

This position primarily operates within Eastern and Central Time zone working hours to support the East Coast region. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with various companies to obtain project information including, but not limited to, condo questionnaires, verification of insurance, project budgets and project litigation; verify document requests are completed and returned to maintain company turn times.

  • Perform a thorough review and analysis of project questionnaires, budgets and insurance policies as required by agencies before submitting the file for project review.

  • Obtain a complete project package before submitting to project review; verify all required documentation in the file is complete and accurate and identify any potential issues that may arise before submitting to the project review team (pre-review).

  • Prepare a project approval summary for missing documentation before submitting to project review for Loan Officer/Branch Manager to review; submit a completely documented file to the underwriter which is ready for approval or denial.

  • Directly communicate with customer to obtain missing documentation required for the loan as needed.

  • Complete required project submission checklists.

  • Manage pipeline within allotted turn times.

  • Document all communication related to the loan application in the LOS.

  • Assist closing, secondary, and servicing to obtain documentation needed to clear outstanding suspense items for loans worked on and/or loans worked on from other team members.

  • Performs such other duties as required.

  • Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience, required.

  • Excellent math and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

  • Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce & Windows.
