OSI Systems is seeking a Paralegal to join the team. This individual will support the General Counsel and staff Attorneys in a fast-paced and friendly environment. They must have an Associate of Arts or Bachelor's degree, and/or completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program with at least 3 years’ experience, preferably corporate/ transactional.


Responsibilities

  • Perform substantive paralegal work under the supervision of corporate attorney.
  • Assist in corporate maintenance, document preparation and management, discovery responses, etc.
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment concerning confidential information.
  • Conduct all activities in a manner which is at all times fair, moral, ethical, and legal.
  • Utilize MS Office to create mail merges and spreadsheets.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Must have associate of arts or bachelor's degree, and/or completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program.
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing, editing, drafting and managing various types of contracts and other legal documents required.
  • Experience with corporate/transactional work preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word Office, with expertise in MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task is expected.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently is required.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines, handle multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously, and prioritize appropriately.
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably for a public reporting corporation helpful.

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
 
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
