Job Description
Regulatory & Compliance Analyst (RCA)
Wage Range: $80,000-90,000
The Regulatory & Compliance Analyst (RCA) protects our residents, staff, and organization by leading risk management, insurance coordination, and licensing compliance. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Operations and Compliance, you will bridge clinical insight and operational discipline to reduce loss exposure and ensure regulatory excellence across our senior living communities.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Licensing

Manage state licensing renewals and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Partner with community leadership on state survey preparation and Plans of Correction (POC).

Oversee OSHA reporting and mandatory regulatory filings.
Insurance & Claims Management
-
Coordinate annual insurance renewals, loss run data analysis, and underwriting submissions.

Manage the full lifecycle of GL, PL, and Workers’ Comp claims, serving as the primary liaison for adjusters and brokers.

Track reserves, settlement activity, and return-to-work coordination.
Litigation & Legal Coordination

Support outside counsel with clinical/operational documentation, discovery requests, and depositions.

Attend mediations and hearings; provide regular litigation updates to executive leadership.
Risk Assessment & Analytics

Conduct community risk assessments and analyze incident trends to identify root causes.

Develop proactive loss-prevention strategies and staff training programs.

Produce high-level dashboards and reports on claims, litigation, and compliance metrics.
Qualifications
Required
-
Experience: 5+ years in Senior Living/Healthcare operations; 2+ years in Risk or Compliance.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and insurance/claims processes.

Skills: Exceptional analytical ability and discretion with sensitive legal data.
Preferred
-
Clinical: Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) strongly preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Admin, Nursing, or Business.

Scope: Multi-site or regional experience.

Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/PPT), EHR, and HRIS systems.

Adaptability: Remote-based, but must travel overnight periodically and respond to emergent situations.

Physical: Ability to sit/stand, use screens for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
