Job Description
Northeast Family Services is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Reviewer to join our growing team!
The Quality Assurance Reviewer is responsible for conducting documentation and record reviews to ensure compliance with agency policies, program requirements, and state and federal regulations. Helps ensure programs complete documentation accurately and on time through various quality assurance activities and participates in agency committees and workgroups as needed to support and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
In order to be successful, this role requires strong analytical, reporting, and Excel skills, as well as superior attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
This is a remote position, but you must reside in RI, MA, NH, or NY.
Duties and Responsibilities include:

Conduct documentation and record reviews to ensure compliance with agency policies, program requirements, and state and federal regulations

Support agency quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring activities

Assist in conducting internal audits and quality reviews of program documentation

Help Track, analyze, and report quality assurance data and audit findings

Identify documentation trends, compliance risks, and areas for improvement
-
Support development and implementation of corrective action plans when needed
-
Collaborate with program leadership to promote high standards of documentation and compliance
-
Participate in agency quality committees and workgroups
-
Maintain accurate records of audit findings and quality metrics
-
Assist with preparation for internal and external regulatory audits
-
Support coaching and training efforts related to documentation quality and compliance
-
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management (HIM), Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare management, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare documentation review, quality assurance, HIM, credentialing, or healthcare data analysis.

Behavioral Health Experience preferred

Strong Excel and reporting skills

Strong administrative and communication skills

Strong analytical and organizational abilities

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Must reside in RI, MA, NH, or NY.
