Our thoughtfully designed stationery and gifting assortment, inspires creativity, organization, and reflection. As we expand our presence in the US, we are seeking a commercially savvy and relationship-driven Key Account Manager to lead our strategic partnerships with Walmart and Target.
4–6 years of experience in a key account management or sales role, with direct responsibility for Walmart and/or Target.
Proven success managing high-volume accounts in CPG, lifestyle, or home categories.
Strong analytical acumen—confident working with retail reporting tools, Excel, and business intelligence platforms such as Looker.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functionally and externally.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
ERP & EDI experience (NetSuite and SPS Commerce preferred) and familiarity with Walmart and Target systems (e.g., Retail Link, Partners Online).
Based in or near Bentonville, AR preferred, but open to remote candidates with flexibility to travel regularly.
This role has a salary range of $80 - 100k, depending on experience
Account Management
Own the day to day commercial and operational relationship with Walmart and Target.
Build and maintain annual account plans, forecasts, and joint business plans (JBPs).
Present new collections and promotional strategies in seasonal line reviews.
Leverage sales data and shopper insights to drive incremental growth and improve sell-through.
Identify opportunities for category expansion, exclusive SKUs, or packaging innovation.
Serve as the day-to-day contact for buyers, brokers and internal teams.
Order Management
Liaise cross-functionally on forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management.
Ensure accuracy in order entry and execution via ERP (NetSuite).
Monitor open orders, resolve shipping or fulfillment issues, and communicate status with buyers.
Coordinate product setup, content delivery, and item compliance (including for account-specific tools and portals).
Manage chargeback resolution
Item/Inventory Management
Partner with design, sourcing, and planning teams to to best present assortments for each retailer
Lead item set-up process for all skus and POS
Collaborate on in-store merchandising and retail marketing programs.
Stay on top of market and competitor trends, sharing insights with the wider team.
General
Perform comp shops and market analysis to inform seasonal and strategic planning.
Represent Papier at trade shows and industry events as neede
