Role Description

As Principal Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will:

• Plan the activities of configuration
• Configure the product as per the design
• Conduct conference room pilots
• Assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations and POC/Proof of Technology workshops
• Prepare effort estimates that suit customer budgetary requirements and align with organization’s financial guidelines
• Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• Will consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology

Requirements

• Work with various technical teams to develop future state solution architecture for MDG implementation
• Execute all phases of MDG implementation
• Develop solution/design recommendations for data modelling, integration, synchronization mechanisms
• Share perspectives about best practices, common technical issues & approaches
• Hands-on configurations on SAP MDG framework for Data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+
• Review and understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications documents
• Expertise with SAP MDG configurations and replication configurations
• Experience in User interface modelling (Design and Creation of UI, Value restriction, Define navigation elements of type Hyperlink or Push button, Data quality, Validation and Derivation rules)
• Technical knowledge of MDG workflows, UI Field Property Changes, and ERP tables
• Full life cycle implementation experience including Blueprinting, fit gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers, and go-live
• Preparation of SIT Test Scripts as per Functional spec requirements and ability to execute SIT independently
• Data Replication Framework – Replication of Master Data using IDocs, RFC, and Web Services
• Key/Value mapping expertise is nice to have
• Hands-on development in Data Quality BAdIs (Validations, Derivations), ABAP, WDABAP framework based customizations in SAP MDG
• FPM and UI customizations
• Knowledge on MDG APIs and its use cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Responsibility for large implementation team
• Onsite and offshore coordination
• Project planning and status management for implementation in an AGILE – Scrum fashion
• Experience using tools provided by project team to access defects, incidents etc. (Dynamics, RevTracks, JIRA)
• Extensive ECC and/or S/4 HANA experience with experience in other SAP modules like MM/SD is an added advantage
• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time
• Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face
