PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Traffic Design Engineer II in Columbus, OH.

Traffic Studies:
- Perform Crash analysis and safety studies.
- Perform Corridor and intersection analysis.
- Develop traffic signal timing and phasing.
- Conduct traffic signal warrant studies and roundabout analysis.
- Perform capacity analysis and congestion mitigation.
- Perform queueing analysis.
- Assist with developer plan review and traffic impact analysis review.
- Develop maintenance of traffic alternatives analysis.
- Perform computer software modeling and simulation.
- Prepare Traffic Engineering Reports.

Traffic Design:
- Conduct traffic control device inventory and design.
- Design work zone traffic control.
- Assist with the development of improvement concepts.
- Develop project deliverables including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Telecommuting is permitted.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in traffic engineering in a professional setting.
- 2 years of experience working with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, and ADA regulations.
Requirements
- 40 hours/week.
- Must have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
