Om Mushroom Superfood is growing! We’re looking for a builder who thrives in a small, highly entrepreneurial team, loves rolling up their sleeves, and is excited to shape the future of a category-defining wellness brand.

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is responsible for overseeing financial consolidation and reporting, supporting strategic business decisions, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. This role will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and support import operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and conduct variance analysis to monitor business performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key financial metrics and trends.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide financial insights based on product-specific and channel/customer-specific sales analysis to inform strategic planning and business growth.
• Build and update financial models to support scenario analysis, including pricing and supply chain evaluations.
• Support audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to compliance inquiries.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Produce ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
• Contribute to demand review processes by providing inputs and supporting import business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, including financial consolidation and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience supporting audit and compliance processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools and NetSuite ERP software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
• Ideally candidates will be located near Vista, CA and open to a hybrid schedule. However, remote candidates will be considered.
