Role Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM)-Direct Sales is responsible for managing key customer accounts, maintaining long-term relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities within these accounts.

  • Create, build, and maintain positive business relationships with existing and new Vestis customers
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profits from existing Regional, Multi-Location, and Single Location Strategic Accounts
  • Expected to travel up to 20%
  • B2B inside sales experience
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage an established book of business at the strategic level
  • Continuously look for growth opportunities within the current client portfolio
  • Always be aware of acquisitions and divestitures that potentially could impact the revenue stream for the clients in their portfolio

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Possess patience, ability to empathize, and strong listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, with good time management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrated capability to influence without authority
  • Keen ability to challenge the status quo and build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Able to present to all levels of the client, including C-suite
  • Successful completion of Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks
