Job Description

• Lead team of direct reports to develop global quality improvement strategies across assigned operation center to ensure high quality products & uninterrupted supply. • Drive supplier Zero Defect Plans and Supplier Cause Customer Escape (SCCE) reductions with target suppliers. • Sr leadership & customer communications related to supplier quality initiatives and issues. • Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, supplier scorecards and supplier assessments to create world class supply base. • Ensure supplier compliance to global QA /FAA standards while driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans to deliver high performance. • Provide technical expertise and leadership to sourcing and development of suppliers with respect to capabilities, performance, quality, cost, and delivery. • Data analytics and trend analysis related to Quality and Delivery to focus resources in right areas and maximize impact of strategic programs. • Develop and institute training, development and recognition programs to build strong technical capability and growth for each team member.

Job Requirements

  • 5 or more years combined of Supply Chain, Program management, People Development or Engineering experience
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project management, Quality or Business
  • People leading experience
  • Experience with project management. PMP Certification a plus
  • Data analytics knowledge and experience a plus
  • Able to read technical drawings and documentation (GD&T)
  • Lean or Black Belt Certification
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Including Sr leadership reporting
  • A change agent with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret business performance and financial data, define actions, and implement solutions.
  • Excellent team building skills, creating constructive and open environments for sharing ideas.
