Department/Specialty: Patient Support Services
Schedule: Full-time | Day shift | 8am - 5pm
Salary: $17.37 - $23.50 per hour

How you’ll make an impact in this role
Guide patients through the insurance and referral process to remove barriers to care and ensure timely access to needed services.
Verify insurance coverage and secure required authorizations to prevent delays, denials, and unexpected financial burdens for patients.
Coordinate referrals and schedule appointments within payer guidelines to keep care plans on track and aligned with network requirements.
Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and third-party payers to resolve coverage issues and support seamless care delivery.
Document authorization activity and coverage details accurately to maintain compliance, protect revenue integrity, and ensure continuity of care
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
- High School or Equivalent required.
- College coursework in accounting or business related subjects preferred.
Work Experience:
- One year of experience working in a hospital, physician office or clinic setting required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 2+ years of experience in medical insurance verification, prior authorizations, or referral coordination, preferably in a hospital or multi-specialty setting.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
